I caught Iron Man 2 last night. Good movie. Iron Man kicks ass! Although I didn’t like the idea of Stark opening his mouth and telling the world he was Iron Man. If they did that in the comics, so what. I don’t read comics. But whatever. He acted like a rich douchebag. I hate rich douchebags.

Iron Man 2

If you left when the ending credit started, then you missed out. This is NOT a spoiler. I’m not going to spoil it. Other might though. If you go see Iron Man 2 you need to stay through the ending credits. You will get a glimpse of the next Marvel super hero movie.

I’m surprised that I didn’t see this mentioned from any of the zombie people I follow Twitter last wee. Well, in case you missed it, which you most likely did, a new app called Night of the Living Dead by LoL Software was released. It’s based off of the quintessential zombie film ever made, 1968′s Night of the Living Dead by the Great George A. Romero. Can you tell I’m a fan of his from using “Great” in front of his name?

This app will play the full length original version of the movie (the app is 321 MB in size). Not sure if it’s straight through or if it’s broken up into different chapters, like a DVD. The app also includes an extensive essay on the “History of Film”, current film reviews & news feed (updated regularly), and links to other LoL Software apps.

From the screenshots the app looks pretty nice. I’m sure that the video is pretty good since it appears that the movie is loaded onto your iPhone in the app. For $0.99 from the App Store it’s a bargain if you don’t already own the movie on DVD, in which case you can probably somehow put it on your iPhone anyway..

Last week I was on a podcast about the new movie Zombieland. You can listen to the main podcast here from Sci-Fi Party Line, which is all about Zombieland, and then you can listen to the Sci-Fi After Party podcast here where we talked further about other shows like Stargate Universe, Doctor Who, and Fringe. Thanks to Cat and Eric for having me on and I look forward to joining you again!
