Lots of professional and amateur astronomers will be watching the show through their telescopes. Here is NASA’s LCROSS Viewer’s Guide and a NASA animation on what will happen. Unfortunately the eastern US will not get a good view of this due to the time of when the event is to happen. I’m sure I’ll catch it on a video somewhere. There will be plenty of places to watch it!
